Who We Are
JP Air Con started seven years ago and has grown into a team running several vans out of our Whangarei base. Between us we have more than 18 years of experience in the refrigeration, heating and air conditioning industry.
The team is made up of registered electricians, an HVAC engineer and an apprentice coming through the trade. That mix is deliberate - it means the mechanical work, the electrical work and the compliance are all handled by one company instead of being coordinated across three.
What We Do
We install and service heat pumps, ducted systems and air conditioning for homes. We design, install and maintain commercial HVAC and commercial kitchen extraction. We fit ventilation systems, and we install solar power and solar hot water.
Residential work runs from a single hi-wall unit in a lounge through to fully ducted new builds. Commercial work covers offices, retail, medical rooms, community buildings, kitchens and light industrial sites right across the region.
IQP Certified
JP Air Con is IQP certified, which means we are approved to inspect and report on specified systems for a building warrant of fitness. For a building owner that removes a whole layer of coordination, because the same contractor that maintains the plant can also sign it off.
We work with Daikin, Toshiba, Carrier and SmartVent equipment, and we hold recognition from Daikin for the work we do in Northland.
Where We Work
All of Northland. Whangarei and the surrounding districts are our home patch, and we travel regularly to Kerikeri, Paihia, Kaikohe, Kaitaia, Dargaville, Mangawhai and everywhere in between.
Being local matters more than it sounds. A call out from Auckland means a two hour drive each way before anybody has even looked at the problem.
